TRAIN-the-TRAINER WORKSHOPS
The WHMIS Train-the-Trainer Instructor program will train your Instructors to deliver ALL of your own In-House training requirements to your personnel. Our Train-the-Trainer Program is
a Workshop, designed to develop & upgrade Instructor skills and achieve maximum results
when delivering your In-House WHMIS training. This program will enable your WHMIS
Training Instructors to prepare and deliver “Site Specific” and “Performance Based” training
as required by Federal & Provincial WHMIS Legislation requirements.

INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM DURATION
(1 day Program depending upon site requirements)
The Instructor program duration is dependant upon the number of WHMIS Instructors
trained, program content, Instructor experience and on-site product and application
requirements. The program will encompass your site-specific training requirements and
application regarding the use of Hazardous Materials in your facility.

TRAIN-the-TRAINER PROGRAM CONTENT
The program content is personalized to your operations allowing your Instructors to deliver
your WHMIS training requirements. Instructor refresher courses for upgrading information
and skills are also available. The Train-the-Trainer program will train your Instructors on the
safe use, storage and handling of workplace Controlled Products, personnel responsibilities
and requirements, applicable legislation and compliance requirements governing Controlled
Products, Worker Education requirements, Labeling, MSDS’s, applicable Product Classes and how they apply to your company, on-site products and operations.

INSTRUCTOR & STUDENT TRAINING MATERIALS
The Instructor Materials included with the Train-the-Trainer program include a comprehensive
WHMIS Leaders Reference Guide and other materials related to your site application of
WHMIS training. Student Training Materials for use by your Instructors for training your
personnel are available separately such as Student Pocket Guides, WHMIS Tests, Certificates,
Records of Training (RT), Overheads, Legislation Requirements & Videos etc. Customized
WHMIS materials can also be developed and also available for your operations and Instructor
program.
