An integral part of Injury Prevention in the Workplace is effective on-going employee General Safety Seminars as part of your overall Health & Safety program and Safety initiatives.
General Safety Seminars are a Cost Effective method of delivering short Safety topics regularly on a variety of general Safety issues. These issues affect all employees such as Office Personnel walking through your manufacturing plant and the hazards and risks in the plant that many office personnel are unaware of, or don’t pay attention to while performing their duties. Other examples would be what PPE to wear such as Eye protection when entering the manufacturing plant, what slip, trip and fall hazards may be present, the correct method of lifting up a heavy object such as a box of paper to prevent a back injury or typical Safe Housekeeping tips.
The purpose and objective of these General Safety Seminars is to develop personnel “Skills” for following and applying On-the-Job Safety practices and procedures, general Safety awareness and development of Positive Safety Attitudes.
